Coreno is a modern, refined stallion with an impressive sport horse frame. He completed a convincing 30-day performance test in Neustadt/Dosse, achieving the highest score of 8.88 of all competitors for his jumping capabilities. His high marks for rideability deserve to be mentioned, too.
Coreno is another excellent example for the prepotency of his sire Chambertin (breed value 146) who has sired 12 licensed sons and many successful international sport horses, for example Cedric (Laura Kraut), Can Do (Kenneth Cheng), Chacco Blue (Alois Pollmann-Schweckhorst), Cazaro (Carsten-Otto Nagel), Chamby (Alexander Hufenstuhl), Calma Schelly (Marina Köhncke) and many others more. Chambertin adds the valuable Holstein performance blood (Cambridge, Marlon xx, Lord) to Coreno’s pedigree.
His dam Corena descends from a successful Hanoverian dam line, maintaining the Holstein influence with Calypso II-son Carbid. Her granddam Anekdote descends from the typey trademark stallion Absatz.
With his modern type, his sport attitude and his show jumping qualities, he has lots of advantages required for the international show jumping breed.
